2020

With the advent of the unprecedented time of COVID-19, and the reality of having to postpone our two 2020 scheduled WHA Missions (to Myanmar and The Kingdom of Bhutan), we turned to virtual platforms to hold events.

Our first, in May of 2020, was an amazing Reunion of many of our WHA Mission Team volunteers from around the world. From Myanmar, Hawaii, Texas, Virginia, California, Ohio, Massachusetts and more, all shared their Mission experiences as well as COVID-19 experiences in their parts of the world. It was an amazing event and so good to "be together" again!

Out of the Reunion was born the WHA Forum - a Facebook Forum page for individuals to share concerns and thoughts around a variety of topics. This ultimately led to the first WHA Forum Event: OPENING UP! which specifically offered insights from medical and financial professionals about re-opening and running businesses in the midst of a pandemic. We were grateful to have so many people participate in each of these events and extend our gratitude to our panelists for sharing their experiences and wisdom with all of us.

On February 8th, World Health Ambassador volunteers and supporters celebrated the Lunar New Year at Sea Pearl Restaurant. This was our most attended Network Night event yet and we are grateful for the support you provided for our March Medical & Dental Mission to Myanmar.
